Hi I am Susan, a retired primary school teacher , mother to grown children, grandmother to two beautiful grand girls and mother to a Great Pyrenees/beagle mix 9 year old dog. This sign making hobby of mine is a result of help and love from my brothers who inspire and aspire me to create wood stencilled signs. This is us in the picture. 

For a couple years I had tinkered with stencilling on wood pieces and tin cans, but after the passing of my younger brother I became obsessed with making signs to inspire and connect people to their family and loved ones. My older brother Stuart pressed me to keep going with making my signs and get a website going as a way to sell my signs. Often giving me ideas and quotes for my next sign. He has been my steady coach and cheerleader with each sign I make. 
So this is my journey, I am learning a lot with many learning curves. These signs are one way in which I feel connected to both my brothers and honour my younger brother. It is what I do inbetween substitute teaching, yard work, dog care and being involved with my family. It brings me much joy.
