I am Susan, a retired primary school teacher and presently a substitute teacher. A grandmother and mother to three grown children. I live with my Great Pyrenees/beagle dog Ella in Killam.

Making signs became a hobby of mine a few years ago using a large alphabet stencil and stencilling on boards and tin cans. Sign creating for me took a surgence after the passing of my younger brother Cameron, who I miss everyday. I had an unstoppable need to make connections of him and others. My other brother Stuart encouraged me to press on with the sign making and create a website. He is my biggest cheerleader and often sends me new sayings for my signs.
I am learning and improving daily in this hobby and building resources and skills as I go, with many learning curves.

These signs are a way in which I feel connected to both my brothers and at the same time honor my younger brother (who dreamed golf and was Niagra Fall's top senior golfer). It is what I do inbetween substitute teaching, yard work, dog care and being involved with my family. It brings me much joy.
